President Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika who is having whistle stop tours in Blantyre has warned those who are planning to rig the elections that, they will not succeed as he is closely watching them.

Mutharika was speaking in Chirimba where he had his first stop.

“I hear some people are planning to rig the election. I am aware of the foreign experts coming in the country, where they are being kept and what they are doing. Let me tell you that you will not be sucessful in this and i will beat you on ballot during the elections day”. Said Mutharika

Mutharika went ahead to say, “let me warn you, I am watching you! I’m watching you! I’m watching you! When I am ready I will go after you because planning rigging is a crime. And I will go after you big time!”
