Barely a month after fuel prices went up in Malawi , the Arthur Peter Mutharika led government through Mera has reduced fuel prices with immediate effect.
This means Malawians will not cough much money from their pockets on fuel, and things being equal , the prices of goods and services are likely to go down.
According to a press statement from Mera, the new prices are as follows :
Petro = Mk 923.50/litre
This represents a 6.75% and 4.12% decrease in fuel prices.
A clear indication that Malawi economy is on track under the leadership of President Mutharika.
