ACB Arrests Zameer Karim, Two Others Over K 2.7 Bn Food Rations Scam

Graft bursting Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Zameer Karim, Commissioner of police Innocent Bottoman and Senior Superintendent Grant Kachingwe in relation to the K2.7 billion police food rations scam.

The three were taken to ACB offices in Lilongwe where they were interrogated.

It’s believed that they forged and presented false documents relation to the Malawi Police food ration scam.

In a related development on corruption, President Arthur Peter Mutharika has directed a forensic audit at ESCOM.
