Chilima Arrived Back From UK Heavily Drunk: Watch Video Here
As excessive drinking is taking charge of the life of the leader for the unregistered political grouping, the United Transformation Movement (UTM), Saulos Chilima arrived back home on Sunday totally drunk.
Those who flew with him from London’s Heathrow Airport confirmed the UTM leader had been drinking throughout the flight.
It is reported that whilst in mid air, cabin crew had to restrain Chilima from leaving the plane after he approached the door to go outside and get some fresh air.
Our source also disclosed that when changing planes at airports, Chilima was seen being hand held by his close protection officer, a Mr Gulo. He could barely walk without support.
Though in serious drunken state, upon arrival at the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe, Chilima still addressed a hand few of his supporters laying bare his drinking problem. After being humiliated by the BBC’s Zeinab Badawi, Chilima canceled a press conference fearing a more embarrassing questions.
Most of the UTM supporters are demanding the resignation of Chilima as their leader saying what they expected is totally different as drinking has become the norm of the day.
