PAC Meeting Catholic Secretariat On Bishop Msusa’s Remarks: Wants To Establish  If Its Personal Or Church Position

PAC meeting over his remarks

Quasi Religious body Public Affairs Committee has refused to support the Chilima Movement because the donors have  told them to do civic education on the coming tripartite elections, saying they have to be neutral and they cannot side with Chilima or risk losing financial support .

The donor community has further told PAC  that the Transformation Alliance  only wants the Presidency in any alliance or coalition but not giving hope to Malawians, so PAC feels its not workable as Timothy Msusa says Chilima is the Vice President and can’t be a running mate to anyone.

This has foiled their plans forcing  PAC to call for a meeting today with the  Catholic Secretariat on Bishop Msusa’s remarks,  to understand if it represent the position of all the catholic Bishops or it’s the position on Bishop Msusa as an individual.
