APM Excited With Phalombe District Hospital Progress: Locals Hail The President As Project Takes Shape
People of Phalombe District have hailed President Arthur Peter Mutharika for the district hospital project which has taken shape, barely a year after its foundation stone was laid.
Mutharika who had whistle stop tours in Mulanje, Phalombe and Chiladzulu Districts had a stop over at the Phalombe District hospital site, where he was briefed on the project progress.
The president said was very pleased to see how the project is moving fast and was optimistic that it will meet its dateline.
During the stops which he had in several places in Phalombe, Mutharika highlighted several projects which have been implemented in the area under the DPP leadership.
Some of the notable projects which have taken place in Phalombe are; the Phalombe-Chitakale road, Migowi Community college, Teachers college and the so much awaited Phalombe district hospital.
